Friends of Humanity (FOH), HID team and students in Bangladesh observed WORLD TEACHERS DAY in all schools in Saidpur, Bangladesh.
Students received teachers in class rooms in the morning, presented flower bouquets.
In the afternoon, FOH and HID organized colorful luncheon event in the honour of FOH schools’ teachers. FOH country director Syed Jalaluddin Ahmad was chief guest. He flew from Dhaka to Saidpur just to appreciate teachers on this gracious day. In his speech he appreciated all teachers for their hard work to teach kids of camps. FOH has always made it point to hire teachers from the camps so they pay attention to students more and more, he said.
He distributed plaques and appreciation certificate and gifts among teachers on behalf of USA based FOH Board of Directors.
At the end lunch was served. At this occasion, HID’s project manager Shabbir Hossain, FOH School Administrator Shahadat Hossain, coordinator Muhammad Latif and social worker Shamim Ahmad were also present.
